Our promise to you: irrespective of age or fitness level we will make you fitter, stronger, more flexible, and healthier.
Based in Grey Lynn, Auckland we specialise in a wide variety of massage types (sports, therapeutic and relaxation), Pilates instruction (original Joseph and Garuda styles) and we also provide traditional Chinese therapies including dry needling and cupping.
We firmly believe in the importance of integration and work closely with other health practitioners such as physiotherapists to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
Sports Massage is tailored to treat the needs of athletes. Can enhance performance, aid in recovery and reduce the potential for injuries.
Therapeutic Massage is to help prevent and recover from a debilitating condition. Healthy, injury-free muscles perform better, longer and with less chance of injury.
Relaxation Massage will de-stress and loosen up your body. It is perfect for those who have been working hard or need pampering. Performed at your chosen pressure, it is a pain free way to relax your muscles and mind.
Original Joseph Pilates
One-to-One or Group Sessions
Pilates is a system of exercises designed to improve one's physical strength, endurance, flexibility, posture and mental awareness. Being located at the re:ab studio allows us to use the full range of pilates equipment in our sessions. For example, reformers, swiss balls and foam rollers. Studies show that pilates can benefit flexibility, abdominal and lumbo-pelvic stability and muscular activity.
One-to-One or Group Sessions
Garuda takes its name from an Indian mythological sacred bird that can change shape according to its function. It is a more intelligent and intuitive way to exercise the body. Using the specially designed Garuda apparatus, mat or other complementary equipment it teaches one how to control the body through precise stretches and actions, placing an emphasis on smooth, seamless movements without any stress on joints.
Traditional Chinese Pain Relief
Dry needling seeks to relieve the pain caused by musculoskeletal dysfunction through relaxing muscle trigger points. This process involves an acupuncture needle being gently inserted into the painful part of the muscle (the trigger point), so as to relax or release it, in order to permanently reduce the associated pain and discomfort.
Traditional Chinese Therapy
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction as a type of deep tissue massage and to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being.

We have years of experience treating children and teenagers. Massage and Pilates are great for young bodies, especially when it comes to helping build flexibility and strength and helping kids training in sports.
We specialise in pregnancy massage and Pilates. Benefits include reduced back pain, increased energy, enhanced muscle tone and improved sleep patterns. Furthermore, increased fitness has been shown to help mums-to-be better cope with labour.
